The event, organized especially for foreign guests, will take place as follows: 2 pairs of dancers dressed in national costumes will greet guests with bacon, onions and a glass of brandy, then will show dancing folk dances specific to our country. The second part of the event will be more interactive, invite dancers to dance on every guest individually.
Requests for such an event shall be made at least 7 days before the show itself.

For those fascinated by mountaineering, the Sohodol Canyon is the perfect place due to its numerous trails traced for tourists. If you are a mountain person, you might like to try climbing real cliffs. The challenge for you is to just reach up to the foreheads of the rocky giants, and from there, experience the peace and harmony of nature at the highest level. - you have to be at least 12 years old.

In addition to being an effective, as well as relaxing way of exercising, hiking would also bring you a considerable dose of inner peace and harmony. Let’s go hiking in the beautiful Canyon of the small river Sohodol or at the sheepfold, and we guarantee that you will forget about stress. The visitor is charmed by the beauty of the landscape all year round from spring, when nature comes to life to the frozen solemnity of winter.
Sheepfold can be visited between the 1st of may and the 1st of september. Depending on the season there can be a tax to visit Sohodol Canyon.

In the village called Topolog, part of the small town Nicolae Balcescu, in 1968 was founded the Nicolae Balcescu Memorial Museum, which is a great pilgrimage place for those in love with Romanian history. Balcesu was a Romanian writer, historian, and, last but not least, one of the leaders of the 1848 Romanian Democratic Revolution. He was a man whose ideas and thoughts were way ahead of his time. The Memorial is located in the very mansion of Balcescu family. As soon as you step inside you get the flavor of 19th century life of Romanian countryside aristocracy. You almost expect to be welcomed by the masters of the place. The interiors look as if the owners just left for a voyage, from which they might be back just as you are visiting. The well-maintained furniture, the ceramic decorations, and the cozy atmosphere of the house would send you on an extraordinary journey back in time.

EOne-day trip to Tismana Monastery, the Constantin Brancusi Memorial, the Old Architecture Museum in Curtisoara, Brancusi’s Endless Column and the Central Parc of Targu Jiu where the Table of Silence and the Gate of Kiss created by Brancusi are located, and also the Brancusi Museum.
